• Artisan Chasing: Post-cast surface and contour refinement performed with tungsten-carbide micro-scribes and hardened steel chisels to restore symbolic relief details, facial geometry, drapery lines, and sculptural balance.
• Surface Conditioning: Sequential micro-abrasive grain progression (240 → 800 → 1500 → 3000 grit), followed by palm-pressure hand planishing to eliminate ceramic lift-marks and unify surface texture.
• Polishing Cycle: Multi-stage mechanical polishing and final hand-buffing using silicone-free conservation compounds, producing a refined satin bronze glow optimized for controlled interior lighting.
• Oxidation Protection: Bronze surface sealed with museum-grade microcrystalline wax or transparent archival lacquer to stabilize tonal evolution and prevent uncontrolled oxidation bloom.
